About the estate
The Luciani estate in Montalcino has been producing wine with passion since 1888. The vineyards are situated at an average altitude of 350 meters above sea level on calcareous, skeleton-rich soils with an east and southeast exposure. Training is conducted using single spurred cordon systems with a limited bud load per plant and a density ranging from 3000 to 4200 vines per hectare. Through green pruning and various thinning practices, production is kept limited and the grapes are rigorously harvested by hand. Natural vinification takes place in stainless steel vats and concludes with the soft pressing of the pomace.
