Les Terrasses d'Eole

About the estate

The family-owned Les Terrasses d’Eole estate is located in Mazan at the foot of Mount Ventoux in the Rhône Valley and is run by the Saurel family. The plots are scattered across various sites featuring sandstone-sandy soils known locally as saffre, clay-limestone soils, and stony terraces. The entire estate is farmed organically, supplemented by practices in agroforestry and regenerative hydrology. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Ventoux and Méditerranée IGP denominations, which are vinified in an underground cellar that requires no artificial air conditioning.
