About the estate
The family-run Les Pierres d'Aurèle estate is situated in the heart of the Loire Valley and covers 40 hectares of vineyards, with a portion currently converting to organic farming. Taken over in 2010, the winery is managed by agricultural engineer and oenologist Pierre-André Frot alongside his wife. The vines grow on the clay-siliceous terroirs of Chenonceaux and range in age from 15 to 105 years. Through deliberately limited yields, the estate produces terroir-driven wines, including typical fruity Sauvignon from Touraine as well as Pineau d'Aunis rosé.
