Leitgeb

About the estate

The traditional Leitgeb estate is located in Rust near Lake Neusiedl and has been managed in the fourth generation by Sebastian Leitgeb since 2014. Covering around fifteen hectares of vineyards, the winery practices sustainable agriculture in harmony with biodiversity, utilizing sheep for year-round grazing. The local soils and the Pannonian microclimate shape the character of the wines, which are crafted traditionally with minimal intervention in the cellar. The portfolio ranges from cool white wines and characterful red wines to Ruster Ausbruch DAC as the ultimate culmination.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Cabernet Sauvignon.
