Tremmel

About the estate

Founded around 1700, the Tremmel estate is a family-run winery located in Rust. The estate cultivates ten hectares of vineyards in the Rust vineyards, which extend in an amphitheater-like shape on gentle eastern slopes. The soils, consisting of crystalline gneiss, mica schist and a high clay content, combined with the Pannonian climate, provide the basis for vine growth. The portfolio includes diverse wines ranging from fruit-driven and complex to the noble sweet Ruster Ausbruch. The origin of the wines is closely linked to the historical wine culture of the free city of Rust.
