About the estate
The Schreiner estate is managed by Gernot and Victoria Schreiner in the free town of Rust near Lake Neusiedl. The family has practiced viticulture at this location for generations, taking over the winery from Johannes Schreiner in 2007. The estate encompasses 7.5 hectares of vineyards, which have been officially certified for organic wine production since the 2012 harvest. Vineyard management relies consistently on manual labor, biodiverse cover crops, and the avoidance of chemical-synthetic sprays. The portfolio features traditional white, red, and noble sweet wines such as Ruster Ausbruch DAC.
The eno directory lists 18 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Pinot Blanc. The estate sells to retail.
