About the estate
The Giefing winery is located in the historic town center of the free city of Rust within a 500-year-old winegrower's house recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The family estate encompasses around 16 hectares of vineyards distributed across more 40 plots on the gently sloping hills of the Rust hill country on the western shore of Lake Neusiedl. The cultivated sites include well-known single vineyards such as Umriss, Oberer Wald, Rieglband, and Bandkräftn. The estate distributes its wines internationally through various partners in countries including Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland.
