About the estate
The La Grand Piece estate is located in the commune of Cabasse in Provence and is managed by the de Chauvelin family. The origins of the 27-hectare contiguous vineyard trace back to a historical site along the Via Aurelia, where Gallo-Roman remains were discovered. Oenologist Bruno de Chauvelin leads the property alongside his son Thibaut, who joined in 2011 representing the fifth generation. Out of 70 total hectares of land, with portions classified under AOC Côtes de Provence and Var IGP, the estate produces approximately 220,000 bottles annually. Winemaking takes place in a cellar completely renovated in 2016, equipped with temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and a new pneumatic press.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Grenache and Cinsault.
