About the estate
The family-run Kiss estate is managed in the fourth generation and is located in Jois in Burgenland on the slopes of the Leitha Mountains. Across a vineyard area of 6.5 hectares, the grape varieties Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Rheinriesling, Muskat Ottonel, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Blaufränkisch, and Zweigelt are cultivated. The mild climate and the proximity to Lake Neusiedl support the maturation of high-quality wines produced under the Leithaberg DAC designation.
