About the estate
The traditional Kellerei Kloster Einsiedeln estate looks back on a monastic winemaking history documented since the 12th century. The current cellar was built as part of the monastery's reconstruction in 1704. Across a total of 13 hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates sites in the Leutschen, on the island of Ufnau, as well as in Weiningen and Unterengstringen. The wines are produced under the AOC Schwyz, AOC Zürich, and AOC Zürichsee denominations. The entire processing from fermentation to storage takes place in the Einsiedeln monastery cellar.
