About the estate
The Jakob Jung estate located in Erbach in the Rheingau looks back on a history dating back to 1799 and is run as a family tradition. The winery cultivates 16 hectares of vineyards, with all vinification and bottling carried out entirely in-house. The portfolio focuses on typical Rheingau Rieslings and elegant Pinot Noir, which are complemented by varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc. Vineyard management is carried out as sustainably as possible, completely avoiding insecticides and herbicides. The generational transition to the current owner Alexander Johannes Jung took place in 2008.
