About the estate
The Czech winery Ing. Jiří Černý, located in Buchlovice, was established in 2001, continuing a family tradition of winemaking. The vineyards are planted in the Žleby site in the neighboring village of Zlechov. The cultivated grape varieties include Ryzlink rýnský, Rulandské šedé, Chardonnay, Tramín červený, Zweigeltrebe, Frankovka, Rulandské modré, and Svatovavřinecké. In the vineyard, yields are managed through canopy management and cluster thinning. The hand-harvested grapes are processed using modern technology in stainless steel tanks, including pneumatic pressing and controlled fermentation for red wines.
