About the estate

The family-run Ing. František Zapletal estate cultivates its own vineyards on the southern slopes in the Morava region around Velké Bílovice, building upon a long ancestry documented by a more than 300-year-old archival cellar. Continuing the tradition of its forebears since 1991, the winery focuses on producing characterful wines exclusively from its own harvested grapes. Vineyard and cellar management relies on traditional manual methods, maintaining varietal diversity and ensuring high maturity of the fruit. The portfolio ranges from dry, light wines to full-bodied predicate wines characterised by elegance. White wines are aged in stainless steel and laminate tanks, whereas all red wines mature in large oak casks and selected wines in barrique barrels.
