About the estate
The Hundsdorfer estate is a family-run winery located in Neckenmarkt in the Mittelburgenland region, which was newly adapted in 2001. The family cultivates 20 hectares of vineyards, with red grape varieties accounting for 98 percent of the area. The soils consist of mica schist, shell limestone, and loam-loess, and the regional lead variety is Blaufränkisch. The wines are vinified in two styles, either traditionally and classically aged in large oak casks and tanks or matured in small oak barrels.
The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
