About the estate

The traditional Lang estate is located in a more than 300-year-old traditional farmstead in Neckenmarkt in the Mittelburgenland region. Deep loam and loess soils as well as a Pannonian climate provide ideal conditions for viticulture, with Blaufränkisch serving as the principal grape variety. The family-run winery combines artisanal tradition with modern technology and features a centuries-old vaulted cellar. In addition to traditional maturation, the estate is known for unique aging methods such as burying selected barrels underground. The portfolio includes characterful red wines and sparkling wines from the region of origin.

The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Rotwein. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany.
