The Heribert Bayer In Signo Leonis estate is located in Neckenmarkt in Mittelburgenland and was founded in 1997. The estate covers 22.5 hectares of vineyards, with red varieties accounting for eighty percent, while white wines and sparkling wines each make up ten percent. The portfolio comprises nine different grape varieties such as Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, which are produced across three series as well as under a brand for non-alcoholic wines. The winery is particularly known for its long-living red wines, which traditionally mature in small French oak barrels.
