About the estate

The family-run Hochwimmer estate looks back on a long tradition in agriculture and has been managed by Johannes Hochwimmer since 2017. The vineyards are situated around Röschitz in the western Weinviertel region at the foothills of the Manhartsberg on loess and primary rock soils. The white wine portfolio includes Grünen Veltliner for Weinviertel DAC, Welschriesling, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Yellow Muskateller, alongside red wine varieties such as Blauburger, Zweigelt, and Sankt Laurent. Shaped by a continental climate with distinct temperature differences between day and night, the estate produces characteristic wines defined by fine minerality and freshness.
