Hillebrand

About the estate

The Hillebrand estate, located in Petronell-Carnuntum, cultivates 30 to 40-year-old vines in its vineyards. A particular focus of the winery is the labor-intensive production of sweet wines such as traditional straw wine. For these specialties, healthy and fully ripe grapes are dried on reed mats after harvest to concentrate the natural sugar content. The grape varieties processed include Grüner Veltliner and Müller Thurgau. The portfolio also includes aged vintages carefully stored in the estate's own wine archive.
