The Markus Lager winery is a third-generation family estate located in the Arbesthals Hills within the Carnuntum wine region. Originally a mixed agricultural enterprise, the business has evolved over the years to focus primarily on viticulture. In the vineyards, the winemaker implements organic farming practices, promoting biodiversity through flowering strips and sheep grazing. In the cellar, the estate combines modern technology with careful and gentle processing, allowing the wines sufficient time to mature. The portfolio includes wines featuring the Rubin Carnuntum designation of origin.
