About the estate
The Heiden-Mayer family estate farms about 1.5 hectares of vineyards at Eisenberg in the South Burgenland wine region. Quality viticulture has been practiced here organically and with soil-conserving methods for 40 years. Cultivation focuses on the regional varieties Blaufränkisch and Welschriesling, alongside Zweigelt and Merlot. The Pannonian climate, iron-rich loam and slate soils, and traditional wooden barrel aging shape the character of the red wines, while the white wines are matured in stainless steel tanks.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Welschriesling.
