About the estate

The Guitard D. estate is located in Tautavel within the foothills of the limestone Pyrenees in Roussillon and looks back on a family history that began at the beginning of the last century. Currently managed by Didier Guitard, the family-run winery encompasses approximately 20 hectares of vineyards situated on terraced slopes composed of schist, limestone, and grey quartzite pebbles. Vineyard management follows sustainable practices focused on natural soil activity and respect for ecological balances. Cultivated grape varieties include Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Muscat, which are vinified using native yeasts in small containers.
