About the estate

The Grint, Marti & Co. Côtes de Thoune Naturwein vom Thunersee winery cultivates one hectare of vineyards in Gunten, Switzerland. In a pre-Alpine region with a sheltered slope, the vineyards are tended by hand over years of labor without the use of heavy machinery. Skudden sheep support natural vineyard management through grazing and weed control. Grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Moscato, and Cornalin d’Aoste thrive in the southwest-facing location. In the cellar, the wines are fermented spontaneously and crafted without the addition of sulfur.
