About the estate
The Grands Vins André Bonhomme estate was founded in 1956 by André Bonhomme and his wife Gisèle, and is now run in family collaboration with the following generations. The winery farms approximately fourteen hectares of vineyards on clay-limestone soils in the communes of Viré and Clessé using organic viticulture. Production focuses on ninety-eight percent white wines made from Chardonnay and two percent red wines from Gamay. The wines are distributed internationally and are known for their aging potential.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca.
