About the estate

The Giorgi Dekanozishvili estate is located in Sagarejo in the Kakheti region, surrounded by the slopes of the Tsiv-Gombori Range. The history of the winery is based on long-standing experience with dried grapes, followed by the official founding of the cellar in 2015. The vineyards are situated in the village of Tokhliauri within the Manavi microzone at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level. The grapes, including Saperavi, Shavkapito, and Otskhanuri Sapere, are harvested by hand. Vinification combines traditional Georgian Kvevri fermentation with elements of the Italian appassimento method, followed by maturation in oak barrels.
