About the estate
The Gero Schüler Weine estate has been run for generations in Bacharach-Steeg within the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. On a vineyard area of two hectares, the winery cultivates steep slopes with predominantly vines over 50 years old on slate soils. Alongside the classic Riesling, the focus lies on powerful red wines such as Pinot Noir, which are aged in barrique barrels. All stages of production are characterized by manual labor. The portfolio is divided into fruity-fresh wines as well as powerful single-vineyard wines and rarities.
The eno directory lists 15 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir.
