About the estate
The Gaggioli estate is situated in the heart of the Colli Bolognesi in Zola Predosa, building upon a long regional winemaking tradition revived in the 1970s by Carlo Gaggioli. Today, the winery is led by Maria Letizia and produces around 130,000 bottles annually in a modern cellar facility. The portfolio features traditional Pignoletto in various styles alongside Barbera, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, blends, and sparkling wines. The property also includes an agritourism facility that welcomes visitors from around the world.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Pignoletto and Grechetto Gentile. The estate sells to retail and horeca. Export markets include Germany, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
