About the estate
The Fuhrgassl-Huber estate was founded in 1973 in Neustift am Walde and is managed today by Thomas Huber. Across a total vineyard area of 38 hectares, the winery cultivates select wines from the finest vineyards in Vienna, with nearly fifty percent of the cultivation area dedicated to Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC. The varieties planted together in the vineyard include Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Traminer, and Weißburgunder. Following the joint harvest, the wines are aged depending on the site and grape composition, sometimes in concrete eggs or various wooden barrels.
