About the estate
The Kroiss winery cultivates vineyards in Vienna and in Illmitz in the Seewinkel region, featuring sandy soils as well as loamy gravel soils. The estate operates with uncompromising cleanliness, relies on manual labor, and gives the wines ample time to develop in order to clearly communicate the respective terroir and origin. Winemaking is a family affair, with Andi and Julia working in harmony with nature and the influences of each vintage. The estate avoids standardized production in order to reflect the natural differences of the climate and soils in the bottles.
