About the estate

The family-run organic wine estate Friedel Russler cultivates eleven hectares of vineyards in the Rheingau region. Certified according to organic guidelines since 2023, the estate focuses on a harmonious balance between soil, climate, and plant. Riesling accounts for seventy percent of the grape variety spectrum, with the remaining thirty percent comprising Pinot varieties, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and sparkling wines. The wines are predominantly produced dry and in a youthful style, with the strategic use of wood playing a role for various wines. Vineyard management emphasizes working in harmony with nature through soil-preserving practices and diverse cover crops.
