About the estate

The Weingut Schäfer GbR estate in Neustadt an der Weinstraße-Mußbach looks back on a long family tradition, founded in its current form in 1948. Since 1991, the winery has been managed by Axel Schäfer, who nearly doubled the operating area in 1994 through an additional lease. As a certified Bioland winery, the estate operates in harmony with nature and focuses on preserving biodiversity in the vineyards. In the cellar, the wines and sparkling wines are produced very gently with minimal filtration to preserve the characteristic vintage style. The portfolio ranges from classic Riesling to distinctive, complex wine lines.
