About the estate
The family-owned Franco Pacenti winery was founded by Rosildo Pacenti in the nineteen-sixties and is currently managed in the third generation by the siblings Lorenzo, Lisa and Serena. The estate cultivates ten hectares of vineyards situated on the north-eastern slope of the hill of Montalcino in the historical area of Canalicchio at an altitude of three hundred metres. The vineyards are planted exclusively with Sangiovese and managed using sustainable agricultural practices. The produced wines comprise the denominations of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC as classic interpretations of the terroir. Vinification takes place within the historic cellars of the estate.
