Fossacolle

About the estate

The Fossacolle estate is located in a small medieval village in the Tavernelle area south of Montalcino in Tuscany. The origins of the Marchetti family date back to the 18th century, and the winery was established in 1984 with the planting of the first Sangiovese vineyards. Sergio Marchetti and his family manage the four hectares of vineyards agronomically, while Adriano Bambagioni and Stefano Bambagioni oversee oenology and sales. The production includes wines such as Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino.
