About the estate
The Fossa Mala winery was founded in 2003 by the Roncadin family in Fiume Veneto, Italy, and operates within the Friuli Grave DOC denomination. The estate has grown from an initial six hectares to its current 36 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are situated in a plain where soils are enriched with silt and clay deposited over millennia by local rivers. The entire winemaking process is managed by an in-house oenologist and staff, utilizing a cellar with a capacity of 9,000 hectoliters. The historic headquarters of the family-run estate is a 16th- to 17th-century villa that now combines wine production with hospitality and agricultural tourism.
The estate sells to horeca.
