About the estate

The Azienda Agricola Isola Augusta estate is situated in the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Palazzolo Dello Stella and was founded in 1959 by Renzo Bassani. The vineyards are located in an area between land and water framed by the Tagliamento and Stella rivers, where vines grow on soils composed of sand and clay. Today, the independent family-run winery is managed across generations by Massimo and Jacopo Bassani. The portfolio features diverse wine styles including white wines, red wines, sparkling wines, skin-contact wines, and limited productions, alongside Prosecco DOC. The production approach combines traditional heritage with the development of natural physical techniques to control fermentation.
