About the estate

The Fischer winery is managed by the brothers Klaus and Bernhard Fischer in Sankt Anna am Aigen in the Vulkanland Steiermark region. The estate farms a one-hectare family vineyard on the Ried Schemming site and has been working organically since 2015 with a focus on Morillon and Sauvignon Blanc. The wine portfolio also includes the Ried Stradenberg and Riesling varieties. In the vineyard, the winemakers rely on uncompromising manual labor, while in the cellar they work minimally without additives or filtration. The wines undergo extended aging through spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts.

The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Riesling. The estate sells to retail.
