About the estate

Fattoria della Aiola is a historical wine estate situated in the heart of Chianti Classico in Tuscany, with origins dating back to the twelfth century. The approximately 36 hectares of vineyards are surrounded by ancient forests and are dedicated mainly to the production of Chianti Classico DOCG. The vineyards are planted primarily with the traditional red varieties Sangiovese and Colorino, alongside international varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet, as well as white grapes. Winemaking and aging take place in a completely modernized cellar under the guidance of winemaker Paolo Salvi. In addition to Chianti Classico, the estate produces limited quantities of IGT red wines, rosé and white wines, as well as grappa and olive oil.
