About the estate

The Falua winery was established in 1994 with the aim of becoming a reference for wines from the Tejo region and other areas such as Vinho Verde. In 2017, the estate was acquired by Vitas Portugal, a subsidiary of the French Roullier Group. The estate's philosophy focuses on sustainable management with minimal intervention in the vineyards and a conscious use of natural resources. Indigenous grape varieties are combined with international varieties to create distinctive, quality-driven wine styles. With a presence in both national and international markets, the company maintains a diverse portfolio.
