About the estate

The family-run Domaine Tourbillon traces its history back to the mid-20th century, when the grandparents began as winegrowers in Gigondas. Today, the estate cultivates old parcels aged up to 125 years across the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, and Côtes du Rhône appellations. Vineyard management follows sustainable practices with no herbicides and careful soil cultivation to preserve the natural balance. In the modern winery located in Violès, vinification is precise and gentle, incorporating both amphorae and oak barrels for maturation. The resulting wines reflect the diverse terroirs and rich heritage of the southern Rhône Valley.
