About the estate
The family-run Domaine Stéphane Guion is situated in the heart of the village of Benais on a clay-limestone terroir and has been organically farmed since 1965. Stéphane Guion took over the estate in 1994 following his education and practical experience. The vineyards are worked from the end of winter until early summer and remain grassed with cultivation under the vines for the rest of the year. Harvesting is done manually, followed by vinification using indigenous yeasts without additives, with only moderate doses of sulfur applied during aging. The winery produces certified organic wines, including red and rosé expressions.
