About the estate
The Domaine Schoenheitz estate is situated near the Munster Valley, where the steep slopes of Wihr-au-Val reach an altitude of up to 460 metres. The vineyards on the granitic soils of the Vosges foothills have been worked since the 1950s with respect for biodiversity to bring out the expression of Alsatian grape varieties. Renowned lieux-dits such as Val Saint Grégoire, Linsenberg, Herrenreben and Holder shape the character of the wines. Since the 2023 vintage, all wines produced by the estate are certified organic agriculture.
