About the estate
The Domaine Njc estate manages four and a half hectares of vineyards across Malepère and the Pyrénées-Orientales in the Languedoc region. The winery was founded by Nicholas Coates and Alexandra with the vision to craft authentic and organic wines. The viticultural approach relies on organic certification, hand harvesting, basket pressing, barrel fermentation, and minimal intervention in the cellar. The vinification aims to express the character of the origin and the aromas of the wild herbs growing in the vineyards. The winery is located within a historic building in the village of Alaigne.
