The traditional wine estate Domaine Martin Murset is located in Twann by Lake Biel and has existed in its current form since 1898. The estate cultivates its vineyards in a mild location using ecological methods, purely mechanical soil management, and consistent manual labor. Martin Mürset manages the winery, which produces wines for the AOC Bern and AOC Bielersee denominations. Alongside wine production in the modern cellar in Tüscherz, the estate offers regular tastings and events in Twann. Operations benefit from the avoidance of pesticides and glyphosates, relying instead on biological measures in the vineyard.
