About the estate
The family-owned Domaine Jean-Marc & Mathieu Crochet estate is located in Bué within the Sancerre region and is managed by a father-and-son duo. Across a vineyard area of twelve hectares, the winemakers cultivate predominantly Sauvignon Blanc for Sancerre Blanc as well as Pinot Noir for red and rosé wines. The soils consist of clay-limestone and limestone pebbles, locally known as caillottes and terres blanches. In addition to traditional vinification methods, the producers also utilize amphorae for aging part of their wines. The portfolio includes various single-vineyard wines such as Grand Chemarin and Chêne Marchand.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
