About the estate

The Domaine Gilles Lesimple & Fils estate is located in the village of Chavignol west of Sancerre and looks back on a family history spanning four generations. The winery cultivates thirteen hectares of vineyards spread across around twenty parcels in various villages within the Sancerre appellation. The vineyards are planted with ninety percent Sauvignon for white wine and ten percent Pinot Noir for red and rosé wine, covering the three emblematic local soil types. The vines are managed using sustainable agricultural methods, and the property has held the highest level of HVE certification since 2021.
