About the estate

The Domaine Fontchene estate is located in Saint-Remy-de-Provence within the Provence region and focuses on producing authentic wines that reflect the Alpilles terroir. Vineyard management prioritizes natural methods, incorporating biodynamic practices since 2014 to foster living soils and rich biodiversity. The grape varieties Mourvedre, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon receive tailored canopy management and manual care to ensure optimal grape maturity. In the cellar, vinification is conducted separately for each parcel using stainless steel tanks and barrels with minimal intervention. Hand harvesting and careful aging on fine lees shape the artisanal character of the wines.
