About the estate
Located in Pouillon in the Sud-ouest region, the Domaine du Tastet is a family estate spanning three generations with origins dating back to 1684. During the 1970s, Jean-Claude Romain set out to revive the property's historical vineyards by replanting them with traditional grape varieties. Today, the independent winegrower manages 15 hectares of vines, cultivating red varieties such as Tannat and Cabernet Franc alongside white varieties including Baroque and Gros Manseng. From these grapes, the estate produces a comprehensive range of wines under the Landes IGP and Landes Coteaux de Chalosse IGP designations.
