About the estate
The Domaine du Closel Château des Vaults estate is managed by three generations of women in Savennières in the Loire Valley. The vineyards are farmed under certified organic and biodynamic management with a focus on soil vitality and natural equilibrium. Harvesting is determined by tasting the berries plot by plot in September. In the historic cellar, the juices ferment with indigenous yeasts and undergo an entirely natural aging process on the fine lees. The portfolio features wines from the AOC Anjou and AOC Savennières appellations.
The estate sells to horeca and retail. Export markets include Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium and Italy.
