About the estate

The family-run Domaine du Calcernier estate manages eight hectares of vineyards in the Rhône Valley with a history dating back to 1820. Located within the Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Vaucluse denominations, the independent winemaker cultivates traditional grape varieties including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Clairette, Roussanne, and Bourboulenc. The soils range from the characteristic rolled pebbles on the La Crau plateau to sandy plots and silty sites in Courthézon. Viticulture follows traditional and natural practices, while winemaking in the cellar relies on natural vinification without added yeasts. The portfolio features structured red wines, mineral white wines, and distinctive rosé wines.
