Domaine des Mapliers

About the estate

The Domaine des Mapliers estate was founded in 2013 by Jean Gallo and his son in the heart of the Var Provence, between Lorgues and Saint-Antonin-du-Var. Situated at an altitude of 300 meters with a southern exposure, the sloping vineyards grow on clay-limestone soils surrounded by pine forests and olive groves. The entire property is certified organic and farmed without pesticides or herbicides, utilizing mechanical soil cultivation. Harvesting is conducted manually by hand, followed by precise vinification in stainless steel vats or oak barrels. The winery produces the Abacus range in three colors, reflecting the character of the local terroir.
