About the estate
Château Demonpère is located in Provence and traces its history back to 1492 when a sheepfold was built on the estate lands. Led by Yves Journel, the property covers 52 hectares of vineyards alongside 17 hectares of olive groves and operates under certified organic agriculture. The estate avoids synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, and in August 2021 it obtained the High Environmental Value mention. The grape varieties cultivated for wine production include Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Rolle. The wines fall within the AOC Côtes de Provence and AOC Côtes de Provence Notre Dame des Anges denominations.
